Character: Takeshi Lev Kovacs
Canon: Altered Carbon (TV)
Canon point: S1 (familiar with S2 and I'm down to incorporate some aspects from it, esp. Jaeger, but I overall prefer the Bay City noir setting of the first season)
Age: 250+
TL;DR: An extremely tired investigator in a far-future cyberpunk world. Highly-trained U.N. military turned rebel, turned criminal and mercenary after the failure of said rebellion. Eventually imprisoned, with his consciousness stored without a body for decades at a time as punishment, before being paroled or hired out to work high-risk situations. Eventually resuscitated to solve a murder. Skills include weaponry, hand-to-hand combat, envoy intuition, eternal sass, eternal weariness.
Backtagging: Always yes! I'm perpetually slow, so I will backtag into forever.
Physical contact: He's not big on casual touches, but will initiate it (like all the time) when he's concerned about someone and/or they've wormed their way under his skin.
Mental contact: Yes, even if he would hate it.
Fighting/injury: Kovacs pretty much can't go a day without getting royally fucked up, so yes.
Genre interests: Cyberpunk noir & sleuthing. Kovacs basically continuing to be a private eye for hire in Bay City, post-S1. Interactions with artificial intelligences and cops and other P.I.s. Could see some great cross-canon with Blade Runner/Blade Runner 2049 particularly.
Also: His bffship with Poe. The incredibly complicated fucked-up familial dynamics with Jaeger or Rei, and a brilliant eternally-snarky partnership with Ortega.
